An easy wild currant to establish with nice yellow flowers in spring. Red berries are relished by birds as evidenced by seedlings popping up along fence lines. They can also be used for jams and jellies. I have three plants in my yard. One gets frequent watering. It has grown quite large. I cut it back. One gets what falls from the sky. It blooms every spring and is about three feet tall. The third gets water that runs off my greenhouse. Xeric when established.
