CONTAINER SIZE

Our plants are available in three different size containers. Ray Leach tubes are the economy size ($4.25 to $5.25). They are tapered tubes that are 1 ½ inches in diameter at the top and either five or seven inches deep. The roots do not grow around the tube, but grow down the side of the tube which helps establish a good root system when planted. Plants are also in #1 pots or a large square pots ($8.50 to $13.50), commonly called gallons, for those who like a larger, more established plants. Plants are carefully packed to be able to survive any rough handling during shipment.

PENSTEMON FESTIVAL

Penstemon Festival 2012 is planned for the Richfield, Utah area on June 8 and 9. David Salman from High Country Gardens in Santa Fe, New Mexico will be the speaker after a Friday evening reception. Field trips to areas where we will find penstemons and other wild flowers on Saturday. What we see depends on how early or late spring arrives. Plans are begining to be developed. Watch for more detail.
