Great Basin Natives
Welcome to Great Basin Natives! A NATIVE PLANT NURSERY. Enjoy your time at Great Basin Natives' web page. I will be taking native plants to the Salt Lake City area in September for the fall planting. I can meet anyone interested some evening after five in a parking lot that has be vacated for the evening. Please let me know if any of you know of such a place. Call me at (435) 795-2303 or email at merrilllester@gmail.com. Thanks.
CONTAINER SIZE
Our plants are available in two different size containers. Ray Leach tubes are the economy size ($4.25 to $5.25). They tapered tubes that are 1 ½ inches in diameter at the top and either five or seven inches deep. The roots do not grow around the tube, but grow down the side of the tube which helps establish a good root system when planted. Plants are also in #1 pots $8.50 to $13.50), commonly called gallons, for those who like a larger, more established plants. Plants are carefully packed to be able to survive unexpected rough handling during shipment.
